Tigers

Tigers,
Magnificent and majestic beasts of the wild,
Made to roam free on the plains of the earth,
Revered and feared by the animals of the jungle,
Knowing no defeat in every tournament.

And yet,
These wonderful creatures of the wild,
Now crouch under the mercy of heartless poachers,
Lay helplessly beneath the claws of brutal, killing machines,
Trampled mercilessly by those who practiced superiority,
Defenseless to their fate of becoming extinct.

Why O Why is this happening?
Arise, my friends,
Rise and speak for these majestic creatures,
If we, the educated lot, do not take action,
What chance of survival would be left for the tigers?
